Microchipping courses
Becoming a microchipper
For Dogs and Cats
This course provides a comprehensive step-by-step guide to becoming a fully qualified, DEFRA-approved, and CPD-certified microchip implanter.
Becoming a microchip implanter is easier than you might think, and no prior qualifications are required. Whether you’re looking to start your own microchipping business, microchip your own litters, or are a breeder or professional in the pet industry, offering microchipping services can be a valuable addition to your skillset.
Microchipping training
Zea’s Canine Fertility offers both individual and group training sessions. Please get in touch for information on group discounts.
The course is divided into two parts: an online theory exam and a practical assessment, which takes place on the training day.
Each participant will need to bring two unchipped dogs over the age of 6 weeks for microchipping during the practical session. If you wish to include cat microchipping in your training, you will also need two unchipped cats—at no additional cost.
